Are we getting | unhappier?


Yes - modern life comes with a lot of stresses from assessments at school to the pressures to 'fit in' online.


No - people have always suffered from mental health disorders, we're just better able to diagnose these now.


Maybe - but increased public awareness and understanding of mental health means more people feel able to report problems.


It's tricky to say. There may be increasing diagnoses but there's also better support to help people manage their symptoms.

    I think the average career now is far less fulfilling than ones from 100 years ago and its hard to be happy grinding out days in an office
